What happens during a wallpaper consultation?

In this personalized session, we will dive deep into the captivating world of wallpaper, unraveling its endless possibilities and helping you unlock the true potential of your space(s).

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Ontario area. Travel time may be an additional fee.

How will you define my aesthetic?

Great question! Defining someone’s aesthetics in wallpaper is a subjective process that involves understanding your personal preferences, style, and desired atmosphere.

It always begins by engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover your vision and aspirations for your space(s). By exploring various sources of inspiration, such as aesthetic wallpapers, design blogs, and visual references, we can gain insights into your tastes and preferences.

Do you bring samples to the consultation?

We certainly do! We’ll ask that you fill out a questionnaire to give us some insight on your style and preference—this will allow us to curate samples and provide sample books for you to review and make selections.

How is your consultation different from an interior designer?

My services are unique in that I specialize specifically on wallpaper design. My in-depth wallpaper knowledge allows me to provide detailed guidance and recommendations specifically related to wallpaper.

I provide focused consultations that primarily revolve around helping you choose the right wallpaper for your space. I can provide installation expertise and management and, if you need recommendations for a wallpaper installer, I can provide a list of trusted installers. Hiring a wallpaper consultant can be a cost effective solution if you want to transform your space without large renovations.

As a wallpaper consultant, I stay up to date with the latest trends, patterns, and innovations in the wallpaper industry.

Should I do this or get a paint colour consultation?

When discussing the choice between installing wallpaper or painting, there are compelling reasons to consider wallpaper for your space(s).

Booking a Discovery Call is the first step towards turning your vision into reality. By scheduling the discovery call we can delve into your project’s unique requirements, and discuss your design goals.

This 15-minute session will quickly allow me to understand your needs, design possibilities, and provide a tailored recommendation.

The Elite Package

How does OMB Elite work?

The OMB Elite package offers a comprehensive solution for your wallpaper installation needs. This package includes project manager day of installation, and the hiring of a professional wallpaper installer. The process begins with an initial consultation to understand your design preferences and project requirements.

Once the measurements are taken of the space(s), the wallpaper design selection is chosen, samples ordered. Samples will be positioned in your space for a few days before final selection. Purchasing samples allows you to visualize how the wallpaper will look in your space and assess its compatibility with your existing furniture, décor and lighting.

Once a decision has been made within a week, wallpaper rolls are ordered. The installer will then be introduced based on our recommendation, and your budget.

By opting for the OMB Elite Package, you can have a peace of mind knowing that your wallpaper will be installed by a skilled professional, resulting in a beautiful and flawless finish for your space(s)

How long does a typical project take?

The duration of an elite wallpaper package with a wallpaper installer can vary depending on several factors. The size of the project, the complexity of the wallpaper design, the condition of the walls, and the efficiency and availability of the installer can all impact the timeline.

On average, wallpaper installation can take anywhere from 1 to 2 days, but it may take longer if there are extensive repairs or if the project involves multiple walls. The timeline will be discussed during your discovery call.

How (and how often) do you communicate with me throughout the project?

During an elite wallpaper consultation, communication with you is crucial for a successful project. Process typically will start with an initial consultation to discuss your requirements, preferences, and budget.

Once we know we are a good fit, we will schedule an in-person meeting that will include assessing the space(s), measurements and wallpaper sample selection. Following this, you will be left with the sample for a few days to make a final selection. I will follow up after a few days for final selection and to order wallpaper rolls.

I will be communicating with you with the hiring of the wallpaper installer throughout the entire process at least once a week to confirm with the installer and to ensure you are ready for the installation date—at that time, I will be present for project management to ensure installation inquires or concerns you may have throughout the installation.

Who will install my wallpaper?

OMB has a list of professional wallpaper installers we will recommend based on your wallpaper needs, which will be a separate charge within your budget.
